Marriage Matters
Churches are made up of various individuals; however, it could be argued that the cornerstone of any congregation is the family. Husbands, wives, and children are integral to church vitality and growth because they work, as a unit, to promote the mission and objectives of the church.
Realizing the value of couples and the relationship that exists between healthy families and healthy churches, the West Broad Church of Christ offers our Marriage Matters couples’ ministry. Great marriages do not happen by accident. To the contrary, they result from much prayer, determination, godliness, and focus. With this in view, we work to provide our couples with the support and information they need to enjoy continued wedded bliss. Monthly meetings, planned outings, day-to-day contact, and an annual marriage retreat all help toward this objective. Our intention is to work, live, and love together as a group while continually considering the practical, contemporary, and spiritual aspects of the marital relationship in fun, informal, interactive ways.
