West Broad Provides Housing Help

The West Broad Church of Christ is a congregation that believes in service that reaches “beyond the four walls” of the church. As such, we were blessed with a wonderful opportunity to reach out to members of our city’s most vulnerable population. On November 15, we assisted in providing housing for CARITAS clients. CARITAS is a Richmond agency that works to provide housing for the homeless. We opened our doors on November 15, and more than 60 men came in for a time of refreshment and encouragement as they were processed to receive not only a warm smile, but also a warm bed. We look forward to future opportunities of service, and ask that you please keep CARITAS in your prayers as they work on behalf of Richmond’s homeless citizens.
