A Special Time of Preaching
March 31, 2009
In the late 1980s, second-generation Pentecostal preacher Kevin Bethea engaged in a series of radio debates with area Church of Christ ministers. As Bethea recalls, “I lost, but I won Christ.” After his baptism, the Baltimore native placed membership with what is now the Deer Park Church of Christ, Randallstown, and later served as assistant minister. In December 1995, Kevin and a group of about thirty-five members planted the East Baltimore Church of Christ. Within ten years, the congregation had grown to 325 members and has helped plant two other churches in the city. In addition to his pulpit responsibilities, Kevin hosts a radio call-in program. He also serves as administrator for the East Baltimore Bible Institute, an external studies program of the Sunset International Biblical Institute. Kevin and his loving wife, Brenda, have four wonderful children.
Please join us at 7 p.m. for our Gospel Weekend on May 15 and 16 as Kevin shares the wonderful, life-changing message of Jesus Christ! For more information, feel free to contact us. We look forward to seeing you there!
