School Supply Giveaway a Tremendous Success

The West Broad Church of Christ believes strongly in service to the community. As such, we coordinated and executed a school supply giveaway to students and parents of Maymont Elementary School in Richmond’s West End. More than fifty residents were served, and in addition to school supplies they also received clothing, shoes, and coats. West Broad has had the joy of participating in several projects with Maymont and, in the words of the school’s principal, “Everything you all do just keeps getting bigger and bigger!” We thank God for the opportunity to serve, and wish Maymont students, teachers, and staff all the best for a wonderful school year!
