A Special Gift for Mom

When you think of gifts for Mom on Mother’s Day, what comes to mind? Flowers? Chocolates? Cards? Indeed, but our youth gave West Broad mothers something else: the gift of drama!
The Youth Drama Guild of the West Broad Church of Christ presented “The Time is Right.” The Time is Right was a game show dramedy that stressed the importance of making correct choices. As is the case on the popular game show The Price is Right, when one chooses well, one wins. When he chooses poorly, he loses. Our youth did a spectacular job, and it was obvious that they were having fun during their performance. Needless to say, the room was filled with proud, pleased mothers, as well!
Sunday’s drama presentation was just one of the many ways we honor each other, demonstrate the love of Christ, and have fun in the Lord at the West Broad Church of Christ. But don’t take our word for it — join us for our next worship assembly and see for yourself!
