2008 Friends’ and Family Day a Great Success

Members of the West Broad Church of Christ spent several weeks preparing for this year’s Friends’ and Family Day. Members painted, cooked, decorated, sang, served, brought food, provided transportation, cleaned and scrubbed, and attended to the needs of guests. What was the result? On November 23, 125 people (55 of them guests) experienced a bit of Christ’s love and saw that there is indeed a congregation of God’s people in downtown Richmond. We are thankful to God for this wonderful opportunity to proclaim his goodness. May each person who was present be brought closer to heaven’s grace!
