See This? You Won’t Find It at West Broad

February 1, 2012

photo-of-man-in-worshipNo, you will not find “a perfect church” at West Broad.  But what you will find are people who acknowledge their faults even as they pursue a life beyond those faults (Prov. 28:13; Gal. 5:16).  You will find people who understand that the answers to the questions of life cannot be found in human beings (Jer. 10:23).  And you will find people who love one another fervently and are living lives of strength, confidence, victory, and hope (Jn. 13:352 Tim. 1:72 Tim. 4:18).

These people come together each week as God commanded (Heb. 10:25) to be strengthened, informed, encouraged, and transformed in the Lord.  Every meeting provides unique opportunities to encounter Christ in bold, relevant ways.  At each gathering,  we praise him with enthusiasm, humbly receive his rich blessings into our lives (Eph. 3:20-21), and are increasingly transformed into the people he would have us to be (Rom. 12:2).  Are you facing challenges, enduring trials, or bearing burdens, today?  So are we.  But we know someone who can take care of them (1 Pet. 5:7).  And you can know him, too.

During this wonderful winter season, we joyfully invite you to meet us each Sunday morning (and Wednesday night) for an exciting encounter that won’t make you perfect, but it will certainly bring you closer to the God who is.  Please join us!
