J. L. Nesmith, Jr., D.Min., Minister
Dr. James L. Nesmith, Jr. serves as minister for the West Broad Church of Christ, a church plant he established in January, 1999 in downtown Richmond, VA. West Broad is a missions effort of the Collegeside Church of Christ in Cookeville, Tennessee. James has worked with churches in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Virginia, and has been preaching Christ’s gospel for more than 25 years. He earned the Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology (1986) from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC, and both the Master of Divinity (1997) and Doctor of Ministry (2006) Degrees from the Harding University Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, TN. He and his wife, Seline, have four wonderful children.
